Ben earned his Ph.D (molecular cancer biology) at Duke University under the mentorship of Ann Marie Pendergast. Ben’s thesis work focused on characterizing ABL tyrosine kinase-regulated transcriptional networks in lung and breast cancer. In 2021, Ben was awarded an F99/K00 Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award from the NCI.
Outside of the lab, Ben enjoys playing chess, weight training, and spending time with his partner and their cats.
